Socioecological literacy campaign for the tourist in its destination

History

The Cihuame women group, the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, and the Instituto Tecnológico de Puebla joined forces in order to design the mole workshop, on the basis of personal and academic interests. The two academic institutions seek to put into practice the proposals stated in the project “Alfabetización Socioecológica del Turista en el Destino” (Socio-ecologic literacy for the tourist in the destination), whereas the Cihuame group focus on fund-raising with the purpose of rebulding the Ex-convento Dieguino, a symbol of tradition in the community of San Andrés Cholula.
